About Us
We’re a fairly active newly retired couple, looking forward to spending time on the road in our RV exploring and sharing the visual wonders and history our country has to offer.
We’ve had the good fortune of finding our lifelong soul mate and have been blessed with 35 years of marriage and have known each other for 45 years. We met in high school and dated for a short time before going our separate ways for awhile. But as fate would have it, we connected again one weekend Trisha was home visiting her family. We’ve been inseparable ever since. We have a son and a daughter, both married with two granddaughters and a grandson.
We plan on doing a lot of hiking and biking in each location we visit and taking plenty of photos, since it’s one of Ben’s many hobbies. He enjoys learning new things that involve working with his hands and is a true believer of the “KISS” principle (keep it simple stupid). He’s a self described hammer mechanic, jack-of-all-trades and closet geek. There’s not many tools Ben hasn’t acquired over the years doing one project or another.
Trisha’s passion is cooking and baking and keeping Ben on his toes. She’s earned the nickname “kitchen witch” from her family. She enjoys creating meals and desserts with her kitchen gadgets, sharing recipes and good food, with family and friends.
